| Hi all,
I've ran into a small complication. I have a production
enviroment with W2K server + SQL Server 2000 + AS, all with SP4.
When trying to browse any dimension of any type a get the following
errors:
(Unable to retrieve children: Object or provider is not capable of
performing requested operation)
or,
(Unable to retrieve children: Key is not unique in collection)
After checking versions of SQL Server, AS(8.0.2039), reinstalling SP4,
reinstalling MDAC 2.8 SP1 with no solution, i've notice that when i
create a second cube the problem appears, but when i have only one
cube, the problem disappears and i can browse all the dimensions.
One more thing, if i may. I'm connected to my production enviroment
remotely, using Remote desktop. This problem that i've mention, seems
not to affect when i register my Analysis server (production). From my
computer i can browse anything i want with no problem, having one or
many cubes, it works perfect.
Please help.
