Member Properties no longer display

| Hello,
I'm using SQL Server Analysis Services 2000 on a Windows 2000 server.
I have a cube that rebuilds nightly. One morning when I checked the
cube I noticed that all of my member properties are now blank. The
properties are still there, but they have no data in them.
I experimented with my product dimension which has multiple levels -
Product Group, Item Code summary, Item Code, Part Number. This is a
heirarchical relationship where each part belongs to one item code,
each item code belongs to one item code summary, and each item code
summary belongs to one product group for roll-up purposes. Each level
of the dimension has a member property that contains the description of
that code/part number.
If I rebuild the dimension to just contain Product Group, Item Code
summary, and Item Code then all member properties show up correctly.
When I add the Part Number level, all member properties then show up
with no data in them.
Is there some limitation I'm unaware of? Can bad data cause something
like this? A bug in Analysis Services 2000?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

| To throw another curve ball out there:
Product Dimension
- Product Group
-- Item Code Summary
--- Item Code
---- Part Number
When I reprocess the cube/database as a whole the member property data
is wiped out for all levels except Product Group. If I then change ANY
property in the Dimension editor for the product dimension the member
properties show up for all four levels. As soon as I process the cube
again, however, the member properties for item code summary, item code,
and part number disappear.
Any ideas?
