Hey,

Can anyone tell me what are the implications on memory usage on adding a
attribute to a member of a dimension.

I have added Year attribute to Quarter Member of Date Dimension, Year and
Quarter to Month and so on. i need to know how much effect on memory storage
will this have?

Thanks
Raja Nadar

You should note that AS2k5 does not cache every dimension in RAM at
startup like AS2k does. It will load and cache them as needed.

Thanks Darren

Also, as per the link that Denny gave and another link
http://www.stlssug.org/docs/advance...pert
ies,

the inference is member properties just introduce increase in storage for
structure, but it does not increase with increase in number of records.
