Author Set "Allow InProcess" for Analysis Services Data Sources

Background: I am trying to set up a data source to SAS from the Analysis
Manager. I get a non-descript error when I try to connect. I had a similar
error in SQL Server 2000 when I tried to set up a linked server to SAS -
selecting the "Allow InProcess" flag addressed the problem there.

Question: How do I set the "Allow InProcess" flag when setting up a data
source in the analysis manager? I can't find the "Provider Options" section I
see in SQL Server.

Thanks in advance!
Tyler

Hi Tyler,

Welcome to use MSDN Managd Newsgroup!

Please try using "Use Connection String" and build the connection instead
of using data source directly to see whether you could set "Allow
InProcess" in the DSN.
