Dimension Securty and DrillThrough
|

| Hi,
I have a dimension, on which I've restricted access to certain members.
After I restrict access to those members I am no longer able to perform
drillthrough on a cube that contains that dimension, even if that dimension
is not being used on an axis...
Is this the default behaviour? If not, what can be done?
Thanks!

| 1. You cannot use drill through when you slice on the members which are
_above_ the secured members. As soon as you drill down to the members at
lower levels and there are no secured members below them - drillthrough will
work.
2. The above limitation only applies to the previous version - i.e. to
Analysis Services 2000. In Analysis Services 2005, drillthrough will work
fine if invoked on any cell.
