Author Changing Dimension requires cube reprocess

Hi

I am having a problem where the data in my cubes fails to display after I
update a physical dimension and the 3 virtual dimensions related to it. The
dimension has 7 levels and 200 000+ members and grows daily. Is this standard
behavior or is there some setting I am missing.

I have 4 physical cubes that are all referenced in one virtual cube. In the
one cube I have 28 partitions that would all need to be processed on a daily
basis which woud prove problematic if that is the only solution.

Thanks in advance
Mike

I should add that it is a changing dimension and that the update is an
incremental process.

Thanks
