good day, do you guys have any solution on how to set xmla to a OWC Pivot
table that will be displayed in an web page? currently im having problem
setting xmla as data source for my pivot table but using the
http://<servername>/msolap.asp my pivot table is ok. we are being restriected
by our sql server and analysis server version. i know that the enterprise
edition provides this simple http connection but how about using standard
edition and xmla? do i need some third party component or something just to
see the pivot table?

One option with Standard Edition would be to use this third-party XMLA
to ODBO Provider (mentioned by Mark Hill in his blog entry on Analysis
Services Problems Part II):

The Digital Aspects XMLA to ODBO Provider allows users to integrate data
from any XML for Analysis compliant server into familiar desktop
analysis and reporting tools.[color=darkred]
