MS SQL Server OLAP - Client connection problems

Client connection problems - Newbie

I recently installed SQL AS 2000 + AS SP 3a on one of our servers.
Secondly I installed the Analysis Manager on one of our workstation.

When i try to connect to the server from the Client, I get the
following error message.
"Error occured while connecting to SERVERNAME. Cannot open connection
to Analysis Server 'SERVERNAME' Do you still want to register the
server.

Looks like permission problem
1) Client is on Windows 2000 professional
I have been reading up on this error message and so far I am not able
to figure out what could be the problem.

2) Also checked under Database Roles under Analysis Server and made
sure "Everyone" is added.

Is there something that I am missing.

Please advise if you are aware of this error message and possible
solution.
