I am bothered for a long time of how to effectively shred xml into table
columns (not stored it as ntext).

I found a product called XMLengine at http://www.talinum.com/products.htm.
According to introduction: "this product extracts data out of XML and saves
it into SQLServer or Oracle with the use of two config files. There is no
need of programming. It very flexible and powerful."

Because i am tired of writting code for each type of xml formate so this
product sounds intesting. Is there any better way of doing this or it is the
way to go?

Thanks!
