| Last year, I wrote an application. Today, my editor tells me that it doesn't work with XP SP2. However, everything is perfect with Windows 98, ME and XP...
Can anybody help me ?

Only in a very general way: Lots of apps, both commercial and
otherwise, were broken by XP SP2. Some of the problems can be corrected
by changing settings in XP, but others require application changes.
Microsoft has some rather lenghty discussions of what kind of things may
need to be changed in applications to work with SP2. I don't have a
link, but search.microsoft.com should turn some up.
If you can give more details on the problems, we might be able to give
more help.

| Which version of dBASE did you write your application in?
What specifically are you having trouble with?
All of my workstations were upgraded to XP Pro SP2 early this year. The
only real problems I had were related to reports and security issues but I
was able to fix those. You should be able to make your application run fine
with SP2.

Check "Data Execution Prevetion" issues with SP2 that may help.

I use dBase 7 with Borland's BDE.
