| Dear Madame/Sir,
Currently we are using dBASE IV for inventory of 20,000 items and related accounting modules. I wonder if there are accounting packages available based on dBASE.

There is, if you go to the dbasetalk newsgroups
(http://www.dbasetalk.com, I think -- for more details I have some at my
own website: http://www.goldenstag.net/dbase) there is/was an open
source accounting project being worked on, although it appears to have
stalled out (the folk working on it are pretty busy folk with their own
apps).
