Author are dbase programs dated?

Hi all,

My old boss designed the program that we use more than 20 years ago using an old version - not even sure which - could have been II .
I remember reading somewhere (but can't find the reference) that this version could only go up to a certain date - maybe 2009 - not sure. Does anyone know if the program is finite datewise and when that date would be?

Your question is too vague to answer accurately.
Of course the program is dated, look at the file date.
If you mean will it work with dates greater than a certain date, then the answer is maybe.
If you mean is it "dated" as in "old" , then again yes, any software older than 6 months is out of date.
