I'm new to dBase and am trying to follow the tutorial. However the dBase IDE itself won't startup as non-admin (I'm using a normal user account under Windows XP, not a member of the administrators group). The sample also does't application won't run. When
I run them as administrator they work, however this is not the "Microsoft best practice" method and end users of a distributed application also aren't always adminsitrator... Is this a know issue? What settings must I change?

I found a solution myself:
everyone should have write access to:
-registry: HKLM\Software\dBASE\
PLUS\Series1
-folder: C:\Program Files\dBASE\PLUS\BIN
\dBLCore\dQuery

Does someone have some comments?
