Hello,
Thanks to that Forum, I heard about "Teechart".
Where can I find the basics steps to go from a dbase table to a basic chart. Let's say a table with 2 fields "Month" and "Quantity"
thanks for help

There's a tutorial at this website ... download, it has examples of
using some of the various options. It doesn't cover everything, but
should be enough to get you going.

Thanks. I am hoping things will lighten up soon and I can find the time
to finish it.

I recently tried to use tee chart with some success.
You can download the free version teechart office and get it to work as a stand alone external charting software. It picks up dbase data fine.
I also downloaded Activex and then registered it, and got it work from within dBase, but could go anyfurther unable to get it to print properly in report.

to integrate the program in an dbase application you only need teechart6.ocx. the registration will be done by:
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\
teechart6.ocx
copy teechart6.ocx to the folder system32.

You can work by activex in dbase. will run in all dbase applications.

greetings
klaus
