Report - Line on Pagetemplate

| hello,
I was able to insert : a text, a shape, a rectangle at the end of the pages BUT NOT a line (it is defined but doesn't show on the report)
I tried to vary : color and width - no success
is it a question of Z order (how to change it?) or is it simply "a line can't be part of a pagetemplate"
second question is : I have 2 groups and 2 summaries
How to force the summary of Group1 to be printed in the pagetemplate and not the Group1 footerband (when selected it goes strait to the footerband)
thanks for solutions
PS : designing a form is easy, designing a report is quite cumbersome !!

Lines can be printed on the page template - I have an invoice that
prints all the lines, boxes, etc, on a laser Have you tried printing
the form The lines don't show on the screen - they're under the
streamframe, but they print
As for your second question, I don't think it can be done, but maybe
someone else has an answer. If it would help I'll post an example of a
form with lines.

Just a quick note, there is a reports newsgroup you might consider using
