First time to deploy a dB+2.6 app. From the Project Explorer Inno Setup the button to build the deploy opens Scriptmaker. When I choose File | Compile this error occurs:
"c:\. . .\ PlusRuntime-b1899.exe\PlusRuntime-b1899_en.exe" does not exist.

I looked and what is there is b1703.

I installed the 2.6 dB+ over the 2.5 dB+

The app has been compiled with this 2.6 version.

How should I correct this problem?

You should download the version 1899 of the runtime installer on dbase.com
under support updates and fixes.

I have a similar problem but downloading version 1899 did not solve it.

The file "PlusRuntime-b1899.exe" have been copied to the c:\Program FIles\dBase\Plus\Run
time" directory.

The error message I get is :

'Source File: "c:\Program FIles\dBase\Plus\Run
time\PlusRuntime-b1899. exe\dBasePlusRuntime
Engine1899-en.exe" does not exist.'

In the above rsponse, why is one .exe added to another .exe as if the first .exe is seen as part of a directory path?

In desperation I have tried running (installing) the .exe and then of course I get the expected response "Database Engine already installed ..." because that version of the database engine has already been installed when I upgraded to 2.6.

Another funny thing.... Compiling the Inno setup, it gives an error message telling me that it can not find a language file - this relates to languages other than english. And this even though english is the only language marked for use. Should it not
ignore the other languages in such cases?

I solved my problem by downloading the latest version of Inno from their web-site.
