I am trying to write a website with dbase 2 and apache and get the following error message "You don't have permission to access /logon.exe on this server."

I have attached the config file, can any body please review and help.

Hello Philip

I didn't see your post as I don't usually watch this group; you would
probably get a much better response in the dbase.internet group for
questions regarding apache configuration problems.

But since I'm here...

I saved your config file locally and ran apache with it (after making a
couple of changes so that it would find my files). I'm running 1.3 and this
is a 2.0 config file, but it started okay. I had no problems with html files
or with running dBASE applications.

Is it possible that IIS is running on the machine?
If you start apache from the command line, does it start properly?

Running the command
apache -T
will test the default config file

What OS are you running?
Did the backslash (in don't) appear in the original error message or in the
newsgroup posting?

If none of those ideas help, you may want to try asking at dbase.internet.
