Project manager - failing to create an exe...
|

| Arne Sivertsen 2005-05-18, 7:23 am |
| Hi, when using the Project manager in order to create an exe file, I receive
an error message saying; 'Failed to create empty ducument' (OK)
I use dbase plus 2.20 b 1746. I've used the project manager many times, and
never experienced any proplem.
When clicking the 'ok' button this message comes up: Program Alert, Error
reading fine: c:\mypath\projectnam
e.prj, File: project.cc, Routine:
project::rebuild, line: 503 -- I get the choises: 'Ignor or Suspend'. If I
choose 'Ignor' I'm prompeted tha the exe-file is created, (but it is not!)
and if I choose 'Suspend' - no action at all.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong her ?
Regards Arne

| Hello Arne,
I think, you've changed your dBASE-location.
The path to the project-explorer is included in the registry. There should
be items like
C:\Programs\dBASE\BI
N\PlusPRJ.OCX
Search with regedit.exe the string 'prj'. Replace any incorrect
location-path with the correct one.
Regards
Lutz
