Author Web site promotion

This is a general Windows question with an implication for deployment.

I have begun working on a web-site with a view to promoting my application.
I want to include sample screenshots.

In writing a manual, screen shots pasted to MS Word reproduce quite clearly.
Using a web-editor, however (Trellix is the one I have), I find the screen
shots are not clear. Text on forms is illegible.

I would welcome suggestions.

Mike

No responses - just as well, as I seem to have found a work-around by
pasting to a photo edit programme full-size and then cropping the image to
the bit that makes the point.

The pressure....the PRESSURE! <g>

I was busy last night celebrating 8 years of bliss with my sweetheart. Now
I'm home from work today and getting round to answering your post.

http://www.phptr.com/articles/artic...0&seqNum=2&rl=1

lists several free programs (and reviews and instructions, etc.) that
optimize graphics for the web. I used gifBOT a couple of years back and it
worked fine - you submit an image and you get back a page of optimized
graphics. It's up to you to pick the right balance of quality and file size.
I don't know how hard they lean on you with advertising these days, but
apparently it's still free.

Thank you

Well, I wouldn't want to interrupt 8 years of bliss....

Thanks for the lead.
