i just purchased dbase plus 2.6 full version. i was
initially using dbase 7.0, and now my hard disk just
crashed yesterday i cant get out my .prg files but i have
an .exe of my compiled programs. i dont know if i can get a tool that
can help me read out the .pro files in the .exe and
then decompile the .pro to .prg for me. these programes are in the
ver 7.0 format, i want to update them with my new
dbase plus, so i need the .prgs

This was answered in the dbaseTalk newsgroups. There is no way to
decompile. However, you might be able to do some disk recovery ...

If not, well, while a rather nasty way to do so -- live and learn --
backup your harddrive regularly.
