| I installed newest version INNO 5.1.6 and it compiles and creates a setup.exe file ok. When I double click on setup.exe to install the program it takes 4 1/2 minutes to 6 minutes to install which is very slow. I'm afraid my users will think the installat
ion pgm got hung up and will not wait for the full installation.
Inno setup used to install much faster using an older version and the same files but I don't remember which version it was.
My computer is a pentium 3 and 866 megz. When installing on a computer a window opens saying: "dB2K Runtime Engine Setup is preparing the InstallShield[R] Wizard which will guide you through the rest of the setup process. Please wait". This stays on the m
onitor for 2 minutes then the screen goes black and in the upper left corner it says "dB2K 0.4 Runtime engine" and that stays there for about 4 minutes. Please help if you can.
