| Hello,
I'm in the process of deploying my first application, so this is probably a stupid error. My application installs and runs ok on my machine with dBase installed. I have tested it on another machine with dBase stripped-out but, although it installs ok, I g
et "error loading IDAPI32.dll" on running. The installation was prepared using the wizard in dBase 2.6 and BDE 5.2.0.2. I have included the three runtime files in my setup.
Thanks,
Mick

| Hi,
XXXX= right buildnumber of your dbase
LL The needed language(s) file(s) EN=English DE=german etc.
you must including the PlusRuntime-bXXXX_LL.exe file in your Setup
This will be install the dBase Runtim and BDE on enduser machines.
This will be started (if created via ScriptMaker) or must be run inside
Setup...

| Hi Jonny,
The only .exe runtime file I can find is PlUSrun.exe which was installed when I upgraded to v2.6. This is the file I included in my setup. Presumably this has replaced the runtime file that referred to the build number.

| I see where I've been going wrong, I ran PlusRuntime-bXXXX_LL.exe when I upgraded and have been trying to install the unzipped files. I've still got a problem on runninf (error code 0) but assume that I need to do a careful check of my setup rather than a
funfimental error.
Thanks again,
Mick

| Hi,
the PlusRuntime-bxxxx_EN.exe file you can downloading from dBase Homepage
Or its including on dBase CD in subfolder Runtime
This file is not inside dBase Installer himself included and will be *not*
installed automatically.
