I want to run a db2k dbase- application without adminrights.
The fact is, the standard security rules of Windows2000/XP do not allow applications to write anything into the programpath.({pf} )

The problem is, the db2k- runtime create an *.ini file for the application- exe, or e.g. "hallo world"- Form include a background *.jpg file the Runtime create temporary *.$$$ files.

Do I have the same problems with dbase Plus 2.6 ?

think YES.

Also user can not write registry entries for the runtime....

Perhaps Inno Setup directive setting
PrivilegesRequired=p
oweruser

helped herefore ?
