I have a great program that was written for my company in dbase 5 for dos.
It will only print to my laser printer. I would like to be able to print my
reports to a PDF file so that they could be emailed. I can't seem to find
anyone who can help me with this. I am hoping some one can point me in the
right direction.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but the DOS version will only print to physical printers or to a
file (a plain text file, not a pdf)...

However, the Windows versions are quite happy to print to a pdf format.
It may be time to upgrade.

If you are running the program on a computer that has MS-DOS as the only
operating system then the short answer is no-can-do.

If, however, you are running it in a DOS window on a Windows machine then
there may be hope. Have a look at http://www.dos2usb.com/idx.htm and
http://www.printfil.com/adveng.htm The second option is more expensive
(79euro or about US$103 compared to under US$20) but it has a free 30day
trial option.

It looks good and the price is between the two I posted. There are no
doubt others out there if one takes the trouble to search.
