dBase III - Windows XP Professional? Help?

| Can anyone tell me if it's even possible to upgrade from a dBase III application to an application that will run on Windows XP Professional. I expect we're going to have to create an entire new system, but we're hoping to be able to leverage what we have
, or at least import the data to a new application.
In a hurry, so quick replys would be GREATLY appreciated!
THANKS!

From what people have said here, dBase III+ will run on Windows XP Pro,
so your app should work with little change. We run a mission-critical
dBase IV app on XP Pro with no problem. I've had issues with getting
things to print, but they can be worked through. Just install dBaseIII
on XP Pro and give it a go; there are people here who can help you with
issues as they crop up.
If you are looking to upgrade your app to a windows (GUI) app, most of
your internal data manipulation will work unchanged in the latest
versions of dBase, but your user interface will have to be completely
redone.
