hello all,
I am trying to set up a label print routine in dbase plus and am using the wizard.
The list of label styles offered as existing templates identify the label by a code number where can I get a description of the code to try and identify a suitable label for my purpose
suppose I need a 4 uplabel page on an A4 steet and the labesl must be approximately 50mm wide and 30 mm long how can I find a template?
many thanks and beat reagrds

It's possible they're not there. dBASE was written in American and uses
Avery style labels as the default.

Don't panic however. Your label package should have the details on it
(or in a flier inside the package) that will help you out, and at the
worst, you can use a ruler to get the information you need. Go to the
dUFLP and there's a form there that accesses the table used by dBASE for
labels, this form allows you to add your own definitions. The form is
CustLabl.wfm in the dUFLP ...

Thanks for the info-

Will try it out-- I am ordering your book but the order form will not allow
the entry of a P.O.Box--
I emailed the supplier to ask what to do because in South Africa street
addresses dont work well at all- especially as the post man has to carry
something heavy like a book it is likely to go astray -----

best regards

Fred,

It might cost a bit more, but Amazon.com will ship to a PO Box.
(street addresses don't work here either<g> )

Weird. Sorry to hear that ... Try Amazon or Barnes and Noble, I guess.
