| Hi
I am using windows 2000 pro at home. with dbase 2.6 the form designer
properties doesn't function. But at my office, I am using windows xp and the
form.designer properties work alright. Is it because of windows 2000 pro,
the designer properties doesn't work?
Thanks
Moses

You really need to provide more detail. There is no reason I know of
that the properties wouldn't work on a specific platform ...

| Moses,
If you mean the look of the controls then that would explain the
differences. Version 2.6 takes advantage of Windows XP themes and styles.

Could the properties form be opening off the screen? I assume you have
tried togggling F11.
Search for the plus.ini file, open the file, look for the Inspector
section, delete the Position line, save the file. Restart Plus and see
if that helps.

| Hi Gentlemen
sorry I didn't explain myself.
The form designer that is not working on the windows 2000 pro are when you
want the visual aids and the grid mapping (custom, fine and coarse) of the
form in design to change. the checkboxes can be checked and unchecked but
nothing happens.
I hope I pointed to my problem
Thanks
