Using the BDEREG program created by the BDEregistrySettings.wfm that Ken Mayer set up (thanks Ken) to set up the BDE values, I get an error message:

Error writing registry value AUTO ODBC.

Can anyone give me more info on what might be the problem? Is this maybe due to some security setting that is preventing writing to the registry.
