Chinese characters

| Hello
I need to store Chinese characters in a DBF table (level 7), but don't
know how. I tried to change the native dBase language driver in the BDE
to 'dBASE CHT cp950' (recommended in the Knowledgebase), but this
doesn't help, i.e. the table is still not accepting the Chinese characters.
Any help appreciated,
Uwe Setje-Eilers
PS: Example of Chinese characters:
杨梅叶蚊母_
公鹅耳枥
(probably you need Chinese fonts on your computer to read the above line)

Have you recreated the table using that language driver? If it was
created with a different language driver, just changing the driver in
dBASE won't allow the table to accept Chinese characters.
