Terminal Services and Plus on Server 2003
|
|
|
| This is a related post to the one labeled BDE Replacement. Thought that post was getting far afield of original topic.
I am excited about using Server 2003 multiuser capability, allowing multiple users to connect using terminal services to a server that is running my plus app. I have heard here and other places that there were problems printing remotely when connecting w
ith Terminal Services (TS) in earlier versions of server.
Anyone know whether this may still be an issue?
Thanks,
Rick

We've successfuly printed thru 2003 terminal services, & dBase, after
doing the normal TS printer setup song & dance. Can't comment wether it
is an 'earlier version' or not.
Cheers,
Christian

| Christian,
Thanks. Good to hear. Just curious - sounds like your users connect to the app over the Internet, or is it over a WAN, or maybe both?
