Networking Problem

| I installed Runtime (and update) on each users workstation (all XP Pro). I installed my database and apps on server drive (shared). Apps work fine on 30 workstations, and hang up on 3 workstations.
I get an error message "database does not exist" when excecuting apps on the 3 problem workstations.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bill

Did you check to make sure that the database alias actually exists?
Check the BDE Administrator. Make sure it's spelled correctly, etc.

| Are you using a BDE alias or just opening the tables from your app. If
you're opening the tables from the app, check the drive mapping on the 3
that won't work. With the app on the server, that's where the .ini file
will be and this file tells the app which folder to start in. If the
mapping is different on some machines, the app will try to start in the
wrong drive, so it won't find the tables.
See Ya,
