Internal Stack Underflow
|
|
|
| I have gotten Internal StackUnderflow before and traced it to prgram code. But I have an app that seems to be working fine except on one workstation, where this error comes up.
This workstation has been working fine for months with the app. I tried shutting it down and bringing it back up with no success.
Thinking it was memory or motherboard, I switched out both and still get this problem.
Anyone know of the reasons this problem can occur, or any ideas on what else I might do?
Thanks,
Rick

| I have run into this with video cards although it has been a long time since
I've seen it happen.

| Rick,
These people have some real old equipment, with a network running at 4 mbps. At that slow speed, I have a tendency to blame a lot on the network or the old equipment.
They had this problem at another workstation, and their IT dept came in and changed some things, including switching out the motherboard and changing network login profiles. They are trying this with this workstation now.
Do you remember why the video card would cause such a message? Maybe the plus runtime had a problem with some old video cards?
I'll have to suggest looking at the video card if they still cannot get it working.
Thanks,
Rick

| It was just the card going bad eventually.
