Can someone tell me how to display a PDF file in a web app? Do I need additional software?

Charlie,

If the PDF is all that you want to show then all you need to do is provided
a link to it. If you want to show some HTML stuff as well then do it in
frames. One frame linked to the PDF the other to the HTML.
