reportgroup.footerband doesn't appear where i want it

| dbase 2.6 I have a report with 2 groups. I compute individual totals
for each group in their respective footerbands. So far so good. I'd like
to total for both groups beneath the second group's total. I'd like the
grand total to move up or down on the page as the number of rows in my
detail bands increases or decreases. I've tried putting the grand totals
in the reportgroup.footerband but it always ends up on the second page
of my report, not under the totals for the second group where i want it.
What am i doing wrong?
thanks,
Howie

The reportGroup footerBand always appears at the end of the report.
That's where it's supposed to be.
If you want your own footerBand, perhaps a new group should be added?
