== PostgreSQL Weekly News - December 11 2005 ==

8.1.1, 8.0.5, 7.4.10 and 7.3.12 are coming out this week. Be sure to
upgrade to at least the latest minor revision.

Commandprompt has hired Devrim Gunduz to do community work. Kudos to
both.

divides the lock manager's state into 16 partitions, although the
performance improvement past 4 needs further investigation.
