Open Source-Based Solution Provides Enterprises with High Availability for

EMERYVILLE, Calif. _ January 10, 2006 _ Continuent, Inc., the leading

availability, today announced a free webcast demonstrating database
virtualization for PostgreSQL® with Continuent p/cluster.

At this technical webcast, attendees will learn how to:

- Deploy a PostgreSQL database across a cluster of servers for fault
tolerance from unforeseen failures or planned outages

- Scale out your data centers on clusters of low-cost servers

- Effectively support enterprise database requirements, while helping
to lower costs and gain flexibility

- Migrate to the freedom and low-cost of Linux on x86 hardware.


The 60-minute webcast is scheduled for Wednesday, January 18, 2006.

Continuent p/cluster is part of Continuent¹s open-source based product line
that works with all major databases and delivers high availability in any
