Users & Contributors:

PostgreSQL version 8.2, beta 3 is now ready for testing:
http://www.postgresql.org/developer/beta

This beta includes a substantial fix to a WAL issue:
http://archives.postgresql.org/pgsq...11/msg00117.php
.... so users are urged to test Beta3 using PITR and to try power-failure
tests.

Remember, we won't ship 8.2 until it's bulletproof, so your testing will
help speed that day!
