Author logging ASE activities

Hi,

I'd like to log all ASE activities, ie. all SQL statements executed
by ASE into a single file, perhaps with some additional information
like time stamps on entry and exit, UNIX pid, SQL statement (without
the data, only table names involved). We tried to do this with some
kind of monitoring tables which collect such data in cycled rewritten
tables, but this does not gave good results. Is there no syslog-ing
style log implemented in ASE? The question is with ASE 12.5.x on
Linux or SunOS.

Thx

matthias
