Author Problems with German/French when using ODBC

Hi

I have a German/French sybase ASE 12.5.0.3 installation. When trying to run SQL
which contains German letters (for example table name with German
letters)against the ASE database through C program using ODBC i receive an error
indicating that the ODBC does not handle well with German letters.

Is there something regarding the ODBC that needs to be done in order to support
other languages letters than us_english.

Thanks
Keren

Hi Keren,

Please post the exact ODBC Driver version and also the text of the message.
I assume this occurs on the select? Are you configured to handle the
language? (I think this means you need to be configured at the correct
charset that the ASE uses for this)
