Slow Database

Our application is very very slow, since two month ago. For example, to get
a record of a customer, it freeze and sometime stay that way.
I had check for virus, but nothing. I had update all servers with service
pack and everything. I had check DNS service if it running and it is.

We have:

Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere Version 7.0

We are using PB 6.5 and PB 9.0

Our database server is a Windows 2000 server, standard Edition.

Many reports they even don't show. Consult a customer sometime take several
minutes.

I only have a year using the database, I love it, but I'm not an
expert, if you have any recommendation please let me know.
