don't know where else to post this question...

Does anyone know of other method(s) to search this and the other groups in
the Sybase newsgroup other than Google? Corporate security where I'm at
rejects groups.google.com due to the ability to view "objectionable
content".

Doesn't your newsgroup client have a function to search messages?
Gravity does...

Remove the ns_ from if replying by e-mail (but keep posts in the
newsgroups if possible).

http://www.teamsybase.com/ngsform.html is one option.
