Connecting to two Databases simultaneously under ASA 7.01

| Goodmorning, we have Sybase Adaptive Server AnyWhere ISQL
Version 7.0.1.918. I was wondering where I cound find info
that would allow me to connect to two Sybase ASA Databases
simultaneously, i.e. establishing two active connections
under ISQL. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.:)

You can only directly connect to one database from one ISQL session.
However, you can have a remote database connection under the covers,
and define proxy tables in the first database that give you access to
real tables in the second (remote) database.

| Hi Mark,
It is possible to connect to multiple databases in DBISQL 7. Click "File/New
Window" to open a new connection -- you'll get a "Connect" dialog. Enter the
connection information for the second database, then click OK. This opens a
second window within the main "Interactive SQL" frame window. To switch
between windows, use the menu items at the bottom of the "Windows" menu
(there's one for each window), or press CTRL+F6.
