| hi, i haver ASA Developer Edition, i can work with this version..? o exists
a best version...?
I haver the problem with authenticaction violation.

| Can you check your system for multiple copies of dbengX or dbsrv9. The
developer's edition should not have this behaviour.

Are you trying to access a previously built database, or is this a newly
created database?
Can you tell us where you are seeing the "authentication violation"
message, the *exact* text of that message, and what steps you are taking
to get it?

| PowerDesigner uses the authenticated edition. You must have overwritten
the developer edition engine with the engine that PD ships.
