Author Restricting data access

I have an application where multiple organizations maintain data in a
common ASA 9 database and can only view data specific to their
organization. This is accomplished through the use of org_id fields
and foreign keys in more than 50 tables. Everything works beautifully.

What I'd like to explore is access to the database via ODBC outside of
my application. That way, users could take advantage of third-party
software to write their own custom reports. The issue is how to
restrict an organization's access so they only see data in tables that
has a matching org_id field value.

I'm stumped as to how to achieve that goal. Any suggestions would be
much appreciated.
