SQL Anywhere database - Assertion Failed

Hi, We are using the ASA 9.0.1.1899. Suddenly we got the
error like Assertion Failed and after that we are not able
to connect with database. We are using the DBBackup.EXE and
Synchronization also in our application. Kindly explain me
on what scenerio we may get this error and what to do after
getting this error.
