| Hi Guys!
I have a version 6.0.02 ASA database that I want to view in Sybase Central. The problem is, when I try to connect to the database, Sybase Central tells me that:
"You are attempting to connect to a version 6.0.03 db running on a version 8.0.1.2600 server. In order for Sybase Central to use this db, the db must be unloaded and reloaded into a new db(Sybase Central only supports version 7.0.0 & later dbs). The Unload DB wizard can step you through this process, after which Sybase Central will disconnect from this db."
I then follow the wizard's steps but when unloading the db, an error occurs: "SQL Error: Cannot access the file rt.jar' -- No such file or directory" (see attached file: unload.jpg). I then searched for the file rt.jar and here are the results:
C:\Program Files\Sybase\Shared\
Sun\jre131\lib
C:\Program Files\Sybase\PowerBu
ilder\jdk14\jre\lib
C:\Program Files\Sybase\jdk1.4.1_01\jre\lib
C:\Program Files\Sybase\jdk1.3.1_06\jre\lib
C:\Program Files\Sybase\jdk1.2.2_10\jre\lib
C:\Program Files\Sybase\EAServe
r\_jvm_lib
C:\Program Files\Sybase\Oracle\
jre\1.1.7\lib
Why can't the wizard seem to locate where rt.jar is? Where should it be located for the wizard to successfully continue unload the database?
The current version of ASA that's installed in my PC is SQL Anywhere 8, this is the one bundled with PowerBuilder 9.
Thanks in Advance. =) |
