Not sure of user id or password. Person who set up Sybase
on server no longer with us. I am afraid to reset the
password because I do not want to break with the
application. Please advise.

There is little that we, in the newsgroup, can do to help determine
whether *your* application will break by changing the database
configuration.

I would suggest contacting iAnywhere/Sybase technical support and
opening a case with them. The support technicians can walk you through
the steps so that you understand the impact of various changes. But
even there, you will likely have to supply (or figure out) the
behaviours of your application.
