Hello all -

We are using a Sybase-based application in our enterprise. Regularly, it
crashes with a sybase error 308. The software vendor mentions that this
error is caused when the Sybase client is unable to communicate with the
server.

The question I have is: how do I confirm this? Is there any place that the
client or server will log network trouble? If not, it there a Sybase
connectivity application, or perhaps even a third-party utility that someone
can reccomend?

The third-party software we are using is Needles Law 4.53. Any comments or
insight is appreciated.

Thanks!

Aaron
