| I'm looking for information on the runtime version of SQL
Anywhere to see if it will fit with an application I am
developing. The areas I am interested in are what
limitations exist and the ease of updating the database
structure after the application has been installed.
Thanks for your help.

| You cannot change the database schema using the runtime edition. You would
need to rollout a new database and move the database from the old to the
new.

| Do you mean updating from ASA version 7 to 8 or 9?
or do you mean that if you change the structure (adding tables, rows
etc) how to get it to you clients?

| Chris -
Thanks for the link. This is exactly the information I was
looking for regarding the limitations.
Eric -
I'm looking to change the structure of the database and
update the clients without losing any of their data.
Thanks again for your help!
