Author Old newsgroup questions

On 5/20 the server crashed and the newsgroups were cleared. Have those
messages been recovered? I've readded the group to my news list several
times and can't get anything before 5/20.

If you are running Outlook Express, you will need to "reset" the local
store. To do so,
1) select the newsgroup
2) open the properties dialog (via Right Mouse Button)
3) select RESET on the local file tab page.
